Barnyard Citizen Burritt on the Mountain is great for kids! Between the Barnyard Buddies like Bushie, Suzie and Miss Lily to the busy fun-filled camps and festivals, Burritt is ALL ABOUT kids! Our young visitors can touch, smell, hear, see and sometimes taste their way through Burritt.

Touch the fuzzy wool in the spinners basket. Smell the earthy barnyard or the woodsmoke of the cabins. Hear the audiotape that tells you about Dr. Burritt or hear Susie bray. See as far as the Tennessee River and the rocket at the Space and Rocket Center from our magnificient bluff overlooking Huntsville. Sometimes you may taste a cookie fresh from the cast iron stove in the Balch House.
