Annual Festivals at Burritt on the Mountain PDF Print E-mail

SFD_kid_with_corn Kids learn about food at Spring Farm Days The Festivals at Burritt on the Mountain are designed for fun first! Hands on activities accentuate the learning incorporated at all of our festivals. Our Spring Farm Days festival highlights the endeavors on the farm during the springtime including sheep shearing and all of the steps the wool fiber goes through from Sheep To Shawl! We also partner with the Southland Flywheelers to demonstrate the technology of the farm and the machinery associated with it. We also have fun Field Trips at this time.

Another great Festival is our new Heritage Festival! The Heritage Festival is a chance to focus on the many diverse cultures in our area. We are working with several local international groups to capture the authenticity of each heritage.

At the end of the year we usher in the Holidays with our authentic Candlelight Christmas complete with Kris Kringle, carolers and music throughout the Burritt Mansion and Historic Park.
