City Lights and Stars brings in lots of people
With a goal to make the best in classical, jazz, and world music accessible to everyone, City Lights and Stars has grown dramatically since its inception in 1994, when its audience was under 100 people for a single concert. During the 2010 season, the series includes six concerts and has already attracted more than 700 people at the very first one. Outside the walls of the traditional concert hall, talented nationally known and local musicians perform under the stars as the audience enjoys the fine music and Burritt's breathtaking view of the city of Huntsville. To attract a wide spectrum of the community, including families, the atmosphere is strictly casual. Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic suppers and enjoy the wine, beer and soft drinks sold at each concert.Sponsors of the concerts enjoy plenty of marketing exposure, dinners in the mansion at their individual concerts, and more! - Sponsorship sign on the Burritt Welcome Center for 6 months-(Over 30,000 visitors will see this sign)
- Listed in all advertising materials (Huntsville Times ads, 2,800 concert programs, 6,000 concert brochures, and press releases to all regional newspapers)
- Complimentary invitation for two to the Champagne Buffet and Concert at a beautiful Huntsville home
- Gourmet Dinner for eight in the Burritt Mansion, including appetizers, dinner, wine, private viewing area on the terrace for the concert, and dessert during intermission

Our Historic Park Volunteers have enjoyed this past year of monthly informative and fun presentations. We will be taking a summer break.
