Welcome to the Barnyard, we’re very glad you’ve come There’s lots of things to do here, and chores that must get done The animals need feeding and the crops need lots of sun But most of all we want you here because it’s loads of fun! Come to the Burritt Barnyard anytime and you’ll find happy four legged friends that are just waiting to greet you with a baaa, moo, cluck, neigh or meow! The Burritt Barnyard is the heart and soul of the Historic Park. Since 2002 the barnyard has been alive with our Barnyard Buddies. Miss Lily, Pepper, Annie, Susie, Laverne and more are here to greet the visitors with a loud HELLO! in thier own native tongue. Some will even greet you with a nuzzle, but don't kiss the goats, they may have been eating poison ivy! Our barnyard interpreters will be happy to introduce you to our freinds and tell you how they may have been used on the farm in the 1800's. |
