Burritt on the Mountain teams up with Fractal Brewing Project and DesignByHart Pottery Studio on Thursday, November 19th to provide an adults only, fun-filled evening for you and your friends. The evening will have groups rotating through three activities:
- Relax and unwind as you explore the art of glazing pottery – Learn about glazes and have fun as you paint your original design on a ceramic, bisque fired beer mug under the tutelage of local artist and business owner Teri Hartmann.
- Learn about craft beers from an expert – How do brewers create so many different beers with unique tastes, aromas, and appearances just using malt, hops, water, and yeast? Fractal Brewing Project head brewer, Bradley “Robo” Robison will guide you through a beer tasting showcasing how these simple ingredients are processed differently to create a crystal-clear German style Pilsner, a classic American Amber ale, a black IPA, a fruit infused Guava Mango sour, and a big, smooth Baltic Porter.
- Enjoy beverages and food- Choose from a selection of craft beers and other beverages at the cash bar. Delicious boxed appetizers or bratwurst and chips are also available for purchase. All can be enjoyed as you gaze at the best view of the city and visit with friends and fellow guests while social distancing in our spacious ballroom or enjoying the sights from our outdoor overlook.
Be sure to list who is in your group when you buy a ticket. We will make every effort to keep you and your crew in the same group throughout the evening. Group size is limited to allow social distancing. Please bring a mask to be worn for portions of the evening.
Cost is $38 and includes all supplies for the craft and the tasting samples. Your finished beer mug will be available for pick up at Fractal Brewing starting Friday, November 27. Enjoy a discounted beer when you stop by for your mug!
