Burritt’s fourth annual Celtic Day, celebrating the history and culture of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, is an event you won’t want to miss. In conjunction with Clan Davidson Society of North America and the Irish Society of North Alabama, Burritt will host a day of blarney stones, Celtic tunes, and demonstrations of the arts and culture of Celtic countries. The Junior Games and creative crafts let the kids get hands-on. Feicfidh mé ann thú! (See you there!)
Morning events include: Irish Dance performance, Story Time, Irish Pipes, and Scottish Dance information
Afternoon events include: Fencing and the Sandy River Ramblers
Various other crafts, games, cultural information, and demonstrations will be presented throughout the day.
