Burritt’s second annual Celtic Day, celebrating the history and culture of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, is an event you won’t want to miss. In conjunction with Clan Davidson Society, USA and the Irish Society of North Alabama, Burritt will host a day of blarney stones, Scottish harpers, dance, music and arts of Celtic countries. Come see lacemaking and blacksmithing demonstrations, discover how to trace your genealogy, and enjoy creating children’s crafts. Children will want to join in our Junior Games while adults get a kick out of watching a caper toss with swim noodles, potato and spoon relays, and a modified stone put competition. Feicfidh mé ann thú! (See you there!)
Admission is included in general admission prices.
