Wednesday, October 9th: Let’s Celebrate Fall – 10:30 am
Let’s CELEBRATE FALL, by reading and learning all about this wonderful season. Children will love the book “Hello, Fall” by Deborah Diesen. Afterwards, they will enjoy making a colorful fall wreath which can be hung up at home.
Thursday, October 10th: Discover LEAVES, LEAVES & more LEAVES – 10:30 am
Discover LEAVES, LEAVES, & more LEAVES on Thursday, Oct. 10, where we will explore and get up close to our beautiful trees. Why do leaves on trees change colors in the Fall and why do they drop? Find out the answers to these questions and much more by hiking in Burritt’s woods. Fall is all around us so experience its splendor on the mountain with us. This hiking activity is for children age 5 years or older.
Friday, October 11th: Historic Park STROLL – 10:30 am
Enjoy a STROLL through our Historic Park. Visit our barnyard animals and learn about Fall time in the 1800s. Children will collect leaves for the leaf people/animal craft that will be made after the walk.
Activities begin at 10:30 and last 1 to 1.5 hours.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All activities are included with general admission.
