Love crafting, but don’t have the space? Have lots of projects in mind, but find it hard to set aside the time? We have the solution!
Come enjoy time with fellow artists and enjoy our beautiful surroundings during Burritt Folk School’s first Maker Space! For $15.00 you have access to our Folk School spaces, equipment, and supplies between the hours of 9:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, August 25. Come for 30 minutes or feel free to stay all day!
As a bonus, we will also be offering a Quilling demonstration between 10:00am – 10:30am which is included in the fee.
Want to know if we have something specific? Contact Megan Carter at firstname.lastname@example.org or 256-427-5196 for more information. You are responsible for all consumable materials, but we do have some items on hand for purchase for Block Printing and Quilling.
*Some equipment might require a refundable deposit such as our painting easels. These easels are easily portable, French easels specifically made for plain air painting.
To use one of our glass grinding wheels you must have previously taken one of our glass classes. Tinsmithing equipment will be unavailable at this time, but will be available for future Maker Spaces.
Pre-registration required! Deadline to register is August 23 at noon.
