Jewelry Making: “Crochet Necklace”
Deadline to Register: March 6th at 5:00pm
Description: Come make beautiful crocheted necklace! Knowing how to crochet is not necessary – in fact the sloppier the stitch, the better! Students will have a choice of silver or gold wire. This is a beginner project so all skill levels welcome. Beads will be provided, however if you want to choose specific colors or sizes, you may bring your own beads. You can order beads online from sources like www.firemountaingems.com, or from any craft store. This necklace looks best with different sized beads. A combination of different bead shapes also makes an interesting piece. The following sizes and numbers are needed for one necklace: 16 large (6mm) 18 med (4mm) and 18-24 small/med (4mm/3mm)
