Title: Mixed Media: “Paint with Purpose”
Description: Art may be one of the most overlooked professions, but little do we know art has a purpose to heal, give joy, and has the power to change the lives that surround us every day. This acrylic painting workshop is learning to use technique and skill to paint with purpose. In this class students will be combining inspirational reference photos to create their own masterpiece with their choice of subject. Additionally, we will also learn basic beautiful art techniques, learn more about our color palette, while receiving detailed instruction on how to paint with speed and efficiency. In closing of our session, we will end with an inspiring artist critique and purposeful conversation to connect every individual to his/her calling as an artist and creative.
Photos will be provided, as students also have the option to bring their own. Students should wear comfortable clothes for painting. Students will also be receiving cheat sheets to continue their learning and practicing at home.
