Nature Ranger Fall Break Camp – “Digging Up History”

    October 7 - October 11

Have you ever wondered what life was like for people of the past, or puzzled over how historians figure that out? Join us at Burritt as we become archaeologists and history explorers and dig up the past! Each day we’ll have a chance to dig up evidence of the past, figure out where and when it came from, and do hands-on arts, crafts, and activities that were common in years gone by. Don’t miss this exciting week of discovery and fun!

To better fit busy families’ schedules, we offer three attendance options:
Full Week – $155 for Burritt members and $165 for non-members
    Monday & Tuesday – $62 members, $66 non-members
    Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – $93 members, $99 non-members

    Registration Deadline October 1, 2019.

Camp is open to children who have completed grades K-5th and are led by Burritt’s CPR-certified staff.  Our teacher to camper ratio of 1:15 ensures that your child receives individualized attention during these fun-filled days of crafts, games, hiking, nature exploration and more.

Camp days run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Students should bring their own sack lunch, but Burritt will provide a snack each day. You may also choose to register for our extended day options with drop-off available as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick-up as late as 5:30 p.m. The cost for extended day is an additional $5 each day for morning only, an additional $10 each day for afternoon only, or $15 each day for both morning and afternoon.
