Students will design, carve, ink and print their own blocks to produce unique and original works of art. Each student will go home with a tote bag designed and created by him or her!
Instructor: Mary Gover has had a lifelong fasciation for visual arts. She received a BFA in painting and a BA in art history from Birmingham Southern College, attending the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa for her graduate work in art history and later UAH for interior design. After specializing in art conservation for many years in labs in Washington DC and Birmingham, Mary turned her attention to teaching. She has over 15 years of experience teaching art to both children and adults in a variety of media.
