Quilting: “Sew Sweet Table Runner”
Deadline to Register: January 9th at 5:00pm
Description: Need a little romance this winter? Come make this sew sweet table topper with us! This class is for confident beginners and beyond. We will use templates, appliqué, and biased binding to create this round, quilted treasure you are sure to love. Please note: We encourage you to bring your sewing machines from home, but will also have a few available.
Instructor: This class will be taught by Beth Hunter. Beth is a history teacher with a passionate enthusiasm for quilting, needlework, and sewing. While she tends to favor traditional patterns and fabrics, she occasionally enjoys a contemporary theme, too. One of her most recent quilts was showcased in the Hitachi, Japan quilt show. Currently she is writing a book on Alabama quilts and hopes to inspire a resurgence in the art form. Beth lives with her husband and youngest son in Hayden, AL.
Supplies and Attire: Please bring your own sewing machine with accessories, if available (remember sewing feet, bobbin, machine cords and pedal). There will be machines available for those who do not bring them. You may also bring your own sewing basket from home along with thread, scissors, etc if you prefer. However, we will also have these available in class.
