Reptile Day with Yarbrough’s Educational Reptiles
Jun 18, 2022 9am-3pm
Burritt on the Mountain is excited to collaborate with Yarbrough’s Educational Reptile Show for our first ever Reptile day. For over 50 years, Yarbrough’s Educational Reptile Program (also known as “The Snake Show”), has focused on delivering fun, exciting, and most importantly educational programs. The program will teach how to identify non-venomous and venomous reptiles, debunk common myths and misconceptions about snakes and other reptiles, and share the latest first aid treatments for snakebites. Yarbrough’s critters will be onsite from 9am-1pm. At 11am, there will be an exciting 45-minute presentation, which will include many of the reptiles in our area along with reptiles and amphibians from all around the world. Create a craft reptile to take home and meet Burritt’s own pet snake Tom. Bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in our new pavilion.
Regular Burritt admission rates and free to Burritt members.
