Title: Stained Glass: “Valentine Openwork”
Description: Everyone will love these stained glass hearts and flowers. This Openwork design will make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for someone special or the perfect decoration for your home. The project is suitable for beginners as well as those with some stained glass experience.
Instructor: Karen Reed has been an art glass professional for over 35 years. Her work has been purchased for private collections in several countries, was requested for Christmas display at The White House, and is carried in galleries in four states. She has written for glass specific publications for 20 years and her teaching has taken her across the country. Locally, her work is available at The Huntsville Museum of Art and The Huntsville Art League (Lowe Mill).
Supplies and Attire: All materials and supplies will be provided. If you have your own pair of safety goggles please feel free to bring them. Students should wear close-toed shoes.
Time: Saturday, January 18 (9:00am – 1:00pm)
Supply Fee: $15.00

Important Information: Registering for a workshop indicates that the student is 19 years of age or older and understands that photographs/video may be taken during the event and their image may be used on Burritt on the Mountain’s website and social media outlets or other promotional materials. Registration also indicates that the student releases Burritt on the Mountain and the City of Huntsville, all their directors, employees, volunteers, and any persons associated with Burritt on the Mountain, from any liability for any bodily injury and/or property damage suffered by the attendee as a result of actives during the educational program.
Cancelation Policy: Students that cancel 14 days prior to the date of the class will be eligible for a full refund. Students that cancel 7 days prior to the date of the class will be eligible for a 50% refund. If student cancels 6 days or less prior to the date of the class no refund will be issued.
