Instructor: Brian Curnel started his art career in 2005 under the mentorship of Michael Dumas, (Canadian wildlife artist). He attended the Art Academy of San Francisco where he received his foundations at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in Illustration. His medium of preference is soft pastel for its versatility and subtle color effects and has been using this medium for 10 years. His style tends to be impressionistic with some qualities of realism. As a Lowe Mill artist, he has instructed classes at Lowe Mill Arts and Huntsville Art League as well as in his personal studio. Now more than ever Brian is elated to bring his experience to his new home at Burritt Museum. Learn more by visiting www.graphitearts.org and Drawn2pastel.com
