DESCRIPTION:2025 marks the 32nd Season of the City Lights & Stars Concert Series at Burritt on the Mountain \nKUSH  |  May 9th \nGates Open at 6:00 pm. Concert begins at 7:30 pm. \nKUSH is a Caribbean-centered band from Huntsville\, Alabama led by Arnold Corbin\, also known as Bert. \nThe name KUSH comes from an ancient African empire. Many artists have influenced KUSH. Reggae ambassador Bob Marley’s influence is quite evident in the “Roots\,” while artists such as Sean Paul and Beenie Man have influenced the band’s more hard-hitting “Dance Hall” styles. The group also receives inspiration from the many “Calypso” and “Soca” artists. Kush’s mainstream influences include Sade\, Bob Dylan\, and Santana to name a few. KUSH has performed at multiple venues throughout the Southeast. \nBring your chair\, blanket and picnic to enjoy the evening. Food trucks will be onsite with food & dessert available for purchase. Beer and Wine available for purchase.  \nAbsolutely no outside alcohol please. \n\nExclusive Member Benefit\nMember Ticket Presale Opens March 1st at 10am\, General Public on sale April 1st at 10am \n\nOnline ticket sales end the day of concert at 4pm or until sold out! \nTicket purchases are non-refundable and considered a tax deductible donation. \nGates Open at 6:00 pm. Concert begins at 7:30 pm. \nConcert location is determined by weather forecast as of 3pm the day of the concert.  In the event of rain\, concerts will be moved to the Bendickson Family Pavilion.  \nIf the concert must be cancelled due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control\, ticket purchases will be considered a tax-deductible donation to Burritt on the Mountain. Ticket purchasers will be notified of cancellations by email. \n  \n \n\n \nConcert Dinner with a View at City Lights & Stars\nFabulous Food\, Fantastic View \nEnjoy a delicious dinner before the concert. \nAvailable for all Concerts    |    Dinner at 6:30pm    |    $40 Per Person \nDinner must accompany a City Lights & Stars Concert ticket.  \nDining will be at The View\, weather permitting or under the Pavilion if rainy. Dinner will be delivered to your table upon arrival. \nRelax with the best view in Huntsville. Stay at your table during the concert to watch the sunset or bring your lawn chairs to move to the grass for the concert. \n\nDinner with a View Menu\nMixed Berry Salad: Mixed Greens\, Hearts of Romaine\, Carrots\, Cucumber\, Blackberries\, Raspberries\, Blueberries\, Strawberries\, shaved parmesan and Creamy citrus Vinaigrette\, Spinach and Artichoke Chicken over a bed of Capellini Pasta\, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes\, Green Beans\, Artisan Rolls\, Chef Selected Dessert \n\nCash & Credit bar available for beverages. \nTables can seat up to six guests.
