Will take a short walk around the park to identify some birds. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars. \n11:15\, Noon\, 1:00\, and 3:00 Caring for Chickens  \nVisit the Burritt Barnyard to view a chicken habitat and meet and feed the chickens. Learn what it takes to create your own flock of egg layers. The eggs laid at Burritt are sold in Josie’s gift shop. \nTommy Howell Bird Encounter Nature Program   1:30-2:30pm Meet in the Church             \nCome enjoy Tommy’s “Beauties from the Sky” program. This outstanding collection of unusual birds will impress you! This fun and educational outing will fascinate the entire family. Seating is limited\, and it is on a first come first served basis. DESCRIPTION:Round Top Bushcraft & Survival Camp 9:00–12:00 June 22nd-26th \nBurritt on the Mountain is excited to announce that this summer we will be offering two half-day camps the weeks of June 22nd– 26th and July 6th-10th for Middle School students. Round Top Bushcraft & Survival camp will be offered each morning from 9:00 to noon and Mountain Top Makers will be offered each afternoon from 1:00-4:00. Both camps offer immersive\, hands-on experiences that are engaging\, exciting and exceptional. Campers will learn new skills by doing. \nFor families that need a more flexible schedule we offer extended day options. Campers who register for Round Top Bush Camp can also register for morning extended day with an arrival time as early as 7:30am for a cost of $10.
