Students will learn one of several techniques in wire wrapping, this is one with a single piece of wire for each cab in which they will create a pendant and a pair of earrings using sterling silver wire and tools included with the class.
Learn the techniques of woodburning, with local pyrographer Lauren Concepcion, while burning your own version of Lauren’s, “Starry Rocket” featuring Huntsville's famous rocket skyline.
Students in the Summer Sourdough class will learn the bread making process from start to finish including making and feeding your sourdough starter, properly proofing and kneading dough, various loaf shaping techniques, and baking. Second class added in September!

Reptile Day with Yarbrough’s Educational Reptiles Jun 18, 2022 9am-3pm Burritt on the Mountain is excited to collaborate with Yarbrough’s Educational Reptile Show for our first ever Reptile day. For over 50 years, Yarbrough's Educational Reptile Program (also known as “The Snake Show"), has focused on delivering fun, exciting, and most importantly educational programs. The program will teach how to identify non-venomous and venomous reptiles, debunk common myths and misconceptions about snakes and other reptiles, and share the latest first aid treatments for snakebites. Yarbrough’s critters will be onsite from 9am-1pm.

Burritt on the Mountain in collaboration with Huntsville Traditional Music Association are happy to announce the return of the Coffeehouse Series bringing monthly Outdoor Coffeehouse Concerts, March – September. HTMA will host a variety of musicians at the Isenberg Gazebo at Burritt. Gates open at 6pm. Coffeehouse concerts begin at 7pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Children are FREE Online advanced ticket sales end at 4pm the day of the event. Cash bar and light snacks, along with a limited number of charcuterie boxes will be available for purchase.
