DESCRIPTION:Deadline to Register: July 4th at 5:00pm \nTitle: Glass: “Glass Fused Suncatchers” \nDescription:  Join us for a fun Glass Fusing project! You will be making 2 Suncatchers in the design of your choice. We will walk you through each step\, giving you tricks and tips on how to use our glass fusing materials and tools along the way. Once completed the projects will be fired and ready for pick-up a week after the class. \nInstructor: Cate Woodall is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a visual arts degree specializing in ceramics. She has taught hand-building clay and pottery painting classes as well as glass fusing for several years. She enjoys helping people find a stress free outlet for their creativity. \n Supplies and Attire: All materials and supplies will be provided. \nTime: Saturday\, July 11th\, 2026 (1:00pm-4:00pm): \nTuition: $50.00 \nSupply Fee: $20.00 \nLevel: Beginner \n~~~~~~ \nImportant Information: Registering for a workshop indicates that the student is 19 years of age or older and understands that photographs/video may be taken during the event and their image may be used on Burritt on the Mountain’s website and social media outlets or other promotional materials. Registration also indicates that the student releases Burritt on the Mountain and the City of Huntsville\, all their directors\, employees\, volunteers\, and any persons associated with Burritt on the Mountain\, from any liability for any bodily injury and/or property damage suffered by the attendee as a result of activities during the educational program. \nCancellation Policy:  Our workshops take a great deal of advanced planning and purchasing of supplies. 25% of all ticket purchases are a non-refundable deposit. Students cancelling 30 days or more prior to the date of the class will be eligible for a refund\, minus the non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be issued less than 30 days from the start date of a class.*  To be fair and consistent\, there can be no exceptions to this policy\, regardless the reason a cancellation is requested. \nThank you for understanding that this policy is in place to protect our artist instructors who spend time\, energy\, and money to create an amazing learning experience.  \n*We require a minimum number of students to hold a class. If this minimum is not met\, the class may be cancelled or rescheduled. In this case\, a full refund will be offered.

SUMMARY:Intermediate Sewing Camp July 20th–24th
DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Sewing Camp \nJuly 20–24 • 8:30–3:30 \nThis summer\, young makers can discover the world of sewing with award winning textile artist Tiavalya Befecadu! Whether your child is brand new to sewing or ready to take their skills to the next level\, these two camps are designed to build confidence\, spark creativity\, and encourage hands on learning in a fun\, supportive environment. \nWith a small class size (1 teacher for every 5 students)\, every camper gets plenty of personal attention as they learn\, explore\, and create. \nCampers can bring their own sewing machine\, bobbins and optional ¼-inch quilting presser foot. For the Intermediate Sewing camp\, they will need a walking foot too. There is also an option to borrow a sewing machine and accessories from Burritt on the Mountain with a refundable $75 deposit. \nEach day also includes time to explore Burritt’s beautiful historic park\, learn about traditional fiber arts\, and enjoy outdoor breaks on Burritt’s beautiful grounds.
