DESCRIPTION:Sanders Family Christmas Play in the Old Country Church \nproduced by Southern Rogue Theatre Company \nPerformance: Wednesday\, December 21st at 2:30 p.m. \nThe Sanders Family is back at Burritt this December. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to build your own mailbox decoration at home—just in time for the season! \nInstructor: Beth Phillips says “I weave lighting\, sculptures and basketry using whole and split Kudzu vines. I also make paper from the leaves\, and I recently learned the ancient process of extracting the fiber from the vines to weave cloth and am excitedly pursuing that side of creating with kudzu at present. I regularly forage materials from nature to include in my artwork and botanical arrangements. Images and examples of my more recent work can be seen on my social media pages on FB and IG @kudzumama.
