She previously owned a yarn shop in Hartselle\, AL and has taught various workshops at several yarn shops and studios. Her work has been purchased for private collections in several countries\, was requested for Christmas display at The White House\, and is carried in galleries in four states. Using the forge\, anvil\, and basic hand tools students will learn tapering\, spreading\, scrolling\, bending\, and riveting as they make a Three Hook Wall Coat Rack. \nInstructor: Al Stephens has recently retired having been a professional blacksmithing since 1992. He is a member of the Athens Forge chapter of the Alabama Forge Council. Al has taught classes for Burritt on the Mountain and Athens State University and demonstrated at local blacksmithing meetings. He is a member of the Alabama Forge Council.
