I also make paper from the leaves\, and I recently learned the ancient process of extracting the fiber from the vines to weave cloth and am excitedly pursuing that side of creating with kudzu at present. I regularly forage materials from nature to include in my artwork and botanical arrangements. Images and examples of my more recent work can be seen on my social media pages on FB and IG @kudzumama. With the invasive nature of kudzu such an environmental and ecological issue in the South\, I love the opportunity to share all the wonderful uses and products that can be derived from such a maligned vine.” \n  \nSupplies and Attire: All materials and supplies will be provided. \nTime: Saturday\, November 15th\, 1:00pm-3:00pm \nTuition: $80.00 \nSupply Fee: $10.00 \nLevel: Beginner \n~~~~~~ \nImportant Information: Registering for a workshop indicates that the student is 19 years of age or older and understands that photographs/video may be taken during the event and their image may be used on Burritt on the Mountain’s website and social media outlets or other promotional materials.
