Volunteer Opportunities

We have a lot going on at Burritt and we need your help!

~ Cocktails at the View – Volunteers will assist guests as they enjoy cocktails and gourmet foods while taking in the breathtaking view of the city and overlook. Click on the month to sign up. October

~ Homeschool Happenings! –  Do you enjoy working with children, helping to gently redirect and help students help listen or follow directions, like assisting children with simple crafts, and help keeping the group together?  Join us! You are not responsible for teaching or leading the class. Click on the month to see the dates/times. October, November, December

~ 2025 Haunted Mansion Dinners  – October 10th, 17th, 24th & 28th –   Volunteers (age 21+) will welcome and greet or assist staff and serve guests. Costumes welcome, although not necessary.

~ 2025 Fall on the Farm – Saturday, October 18thVolunteers needed to help children with crafts, old fashioned toys and with the Gem Mining Sluice.  Activities throughout the Historic Park will let families meet and get to know our farmyard friends.

~ Round Top Folk Festival Events – Join us for Fall fun at the annual Folk Festival! Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks such as gate greeters, crafts, demonstrating simple traditional skills (butter churning, carding wool, children’s toys etc.), parking and more.  Historical clothing is provided for those who help in the Historic Park.

~ Candlelight Christmas – Friday & Saturday, December 5th & 6thThe star-lit mountain will sparkle with hundreds of candles illuminating the sidewalks around the Burritt Mansion and through the Historic Park.  Volunteers needed to assist with traditional crafts and serving refreshments while Some areas require historical clothing provided by Burritt.

~ Holiday Magic Dinners – December 9th (lunch), 10th – 14th (dinners) – Guests will experience the magic of the holidays at the historic Burritt Mansion with an elegant five course meal. Volunteers needed to assist with tableware set-up, lighting candles, greeting, checking in guests and serving dinners.

~ Sanders Family Christmas Play – Volunteers needed to assist with greeting, refreshments and ushering outside. One sign-up per volunteer so others have the chance to enjoy the play too.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Adopt-A-Mile, Burritt Brigade, Education Docent, Living History Interpreter, Mansion Docent, Special Events and Trail and Forest.
