    Spring Farm Days Saturday, April 6 (10:00am – 4:00pm) and Sunday, April 7, 2019 (12:00pm – 4:00pm) Join us for a taste of springtime as you visit our barnyard animals, experience historic skills, and learn about life on the farm during the 1800’s.  This year we will have a few new animals visiting the park for this special event. Visitors are sure to be fascinated by the sheep-shearing and blacksmith demonstrations.  Come observe wool being spun into yarn, give milking our faux cow, Boxy, a try, and help wash and card our wool.  Learn what attending school was like in 1918…

    Hands-on History Travel back in time as you enjoy demonstrations of traditional skills and experience hands-on history activities. Come see a blacksmith work the forge. Watch as the time-honored craft of spinning is demonstrated. Explore our historic park on your own or join one of the guided tours that start at the entrance to the Eddins House (10:00, 12:00, 2:30). Try your hand at making butter and at panning for gems. Children will enjoy making their own crafts, while listening to musicians play beloved folk tunes is fun for all ages.

Burritt on the Mountain invites everyone to Kris Kringle’s Candlelight Christmas November 30st and  December 1st from 5-9 p.m. The kids will love to see Kris Kringle in the Burritt Mansion from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. He has to get the reindeer to bed early as he has a busy month coming up!
