Celebrate all our critters here in the park with crafts, games, and the fun side of barnyard chores. Come on down to the farm, and learn all about the food, work, friendship that our animals give us, and meet and get to know our farmyard friends.
Have you ever wondered how apple cider is made? Come see a cider making demonstration at Fall on the Farm on Saturday, October 21st.
Demonstrations are at 11am and 2 pm. Learn about the mechanics of the screw-press, the pollinators hard at work in an orchard, and the heritage of a variety of local and heirloom apples. We’ll even sample this fall’s cider from a local orchard on the Cumberland Plateau. Yum!
