2026 marks our 33rd Season of the City Lights & Stars Concert Series at Burritt on the Mountain
Huntsville in the Mood | September 25th
Gates Open at 6:00 pm. Concert begins at 7:00 pm.
Huntsville’s In the Mood is a traditional 21-piece Glenn Miller-style big band based in Huntsville, Alabama. The band
formed with a mission of keeping the legacy of Glenn Miller alive, and to help introduce newer audiences to the
wonderful popular music from the big band era, played by local musicians. Occasionally nicknamed the “Glenn Miller
band of North America”, the band strives to reproduce the quality and authenticity of the greats from the 1940s and
1950s, including Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin. Our music is great for people of all ages. This is swing
music at its finest, and it is a style that can never go out of style
Bring your chair, blanket and picnic to enjoy the evening. Food trucks will be onsite with food & dessert available for purchase. Beer and Wine available for purchase.
Absolutely no outside alcohol please.

Online ticket sales end the day of concert at 4pm or until sold out!
Ticket purchases are non-refundable and considered a tax deductible donation.
Gates Open at 6:00 pm. Concert begins at 7:00 pm.
Concert location is determined by weather forecast as of 3pm the day of the concert. In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the Bendickson Family Pavilion.
If the concert must be cancelled due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, ticket purchases will be considered a tax-deductible donation to Burritt on the Mountain. Ticket purchasers will be notified of cancellations by email.

Available for all Concerts | Dinner at 6:00pm | $30 Per Person
Dinner must accompany a City Lights & Stars Concert ticket.
Dining will be at The View, weather permitting or under the Pavilion if rainy. Dinner will be delivered to your table upon arrival.
Relax with the best view in Huntsville. Stay at your table during the concert to watch the sunset or bring your lawn chairs to move to the grass for the concert.
