We have a lot going on at Burritt and we need your help!

Women’s Work, Women’s Wear, Saturday, May 11th  Volunteers will greet visitors and demonstrate tasks of women’s day-to-day roles as wife, mother, teacher, and their work off the farm. Visitors will wander through the 1800’s, see the changes in fashions, that the women of our cabin families would have worn and admired. Sign-up at Explore History – Women’s Work, Women’s Wear

Summer Camp Counselors  – Be part of the fun as we enhance lives through our educational events. Burritt on the Mountain volunteers will enjoy new experiences and meet new people, while having fun in a historic and family friendly atmosphere. Camp Counselors to assist kids in grades K-5 with crafts, games, hikes and more. Counselors should be at least 14 years old, adults or teens are welcome. 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and/or 1:30 to 5:30 PM.

Reptile Day, Saturday, July 27th Burritt will host live reptiles for visitors to see and crafts for children.  Volunteers needed to help children with crafts and with the Gem Mining Sluice. Sign-up at Reptile Day

City Lights & Stars Summer Concert Series, Volunteers will assist check-in, greeting, and serving guests. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and attend the concert for free!
