Fall 2024 Saturday Series

October 12, 10am-2pm – Gourd Carving

Just in time for Halloween, we will demonstrate traditional carving with gourds, turnips, pumpkins & watermelons.

Enjoy 19th century era ghost storytelling along with other period seasonal things.

Upcoming Events

October 26 – Braided Rug Making

We will hopefully be completing 2 unfinished braided rugs and begin the process of preparing scrap material for future rugs.

November 9, 10am-2pm – Candle Making and Dipping

Burritt staff members will demonstrate candle dipping. We will also have some molds available. If time allows, we will do some candle pours as well.
