Join us for a taste of springtime on the farm Saturday April 29 10am-4pm. Visit our barnyard animals, experience historic skills, and learn about life on the farm during the 1800s. Visitors will be fascinated by the sheep-shearing and blacksmithing demonstrations. Come observe wool being spun into yarn, milk our faux cow, Boxy, and play with old-fashioned toys. You will leave with a new appreciation for modern conveniences after trying historic tasks such as rug beating, butter churning, and mattress stuffing! Listen to musicians throughout the park play traditional instruments and music enjoyed during our Alabama beginnings.
