Burritt Folk School

In this hands-on class, participants will gain the knowledge and experience to confidently bake their own sourdough  at home. Students can expect to bring home a loaf of sourdough to bake the following day, their own sourdough Mother (which is over 100 years old) for continued baking, and a tea towel.

Students will learn how to prepare old clothing for weaving, set up a frame loom, and create a one-of-a-kind woven piece using repurposed materials.

Come and join us for fun Glass Fusing project! You will be making a 6x6 project to display or hang in your home.  We’ll walk you through each step, giving you tricks and tips on how to use our glass fusing materials and tools along the way.

This advanced weekday class will focus on the steps needed to make your own display stand that is perfect for showcasing your own personal art work or a seasonal ornament.

This beginner-friendly class will teach you the five foundational crochet stitches, how to make 3D forms, and how to finish a project.
