This class will focus on several basic forging fundamentals. Using the forge, anvil, and basic hand tools students will learn tapering, spreading, scrolling, bending, and riveting as they make a letter opener.
Participants will learn the basics of fiber preparation, safe dye handling, and simple techniques for applying color to yarn in order to create their own one-of-a-kind skeins.
