In this hands-on class, participants will gain the knowledge and experience to confidently bake their own sourdough at home. Students can expect to bring home a loaf of sourdough to bake the following day, their own sourdough Mother (which is over 100 years old) for continued baking, and a tea towel.

Spring Farm Day 2026 April 18th | 10am – 4pm Join us for a taste of springtime on the farm Saturday, April 18th 10am-4pm. Visit our barnyard animals, experience historic skills, and learn about life on the farm during the 1800s. Visitors will be fascinated by the sheep-shearing and blacksmithing demonstrations. Set on Burritt’s beautiful grounds, this camp invites children to slow down, look closely, and connect with the natural world through a story-based mystery woven throughout the week.
