Title: Writing – The Art of Noticing: the practice of Nature Journaling
Description:
This workshop explores accessible techniques for developing a nature journaling
practice — we will cover basic supplies to get started, observational skills, simple drawing methods, and how
to use phone photography and identification tools to support and deepen the practice. With time spent in the
classroom and in the field, we will cover everything you need to begin this age-old artform. The focus is on
documentation over perfection, building a habit that invites curiosity and connection with nature rather than
demanding artistic skill.
Instructor: Laura Grace Clark- local teacher, artist and naturalist.
Supplies and Attire: All materials and supplies will be provided. Students bring water bottles and wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for outdoors. Weather permitting, we will be walking on the trails.
Time: Saturday, April 25th, 12:00pm-3:00pm
Tuition: $50.00
Supply Fee: $15.00

No refunds will be issued less than 30 days from the start date of a class.* To be fair and consistent, there can be no exceptions to this policy, regardless for the reason a cancelation is requested.
Thank you for understanding that this policy is in place to protect our artist instructors who spend time, energy, and money to create an amazing learning experience.
*We require a minimum number of students to hold a class. If this minimum is not met, the class may be canceled or rescheduled. In this case, a full refund will be offered.
