COVID-19 Attraction Status

At this time Burritt on the Mountain is closed.  We are following the ever changing recommendations and taking preventative measures issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevetion (CDC). We are monitoring up to the minute guidelines from Federal, State and Local agencies regarding avoidance of transmission of COVID-19. Our staff is working to keep the behind the scenes operations of our site still maintained.  And all of our barnyard friends will be fed and taken care of throughout this time.  We follow the schedule of the Huntsville City School system for opening and closing, therefore will resume operations in line with announcements made regarding schools.

Burritt regular activities that were scheduled to happen during the time we are closed are canceled. If your event was prepaid, such as Spring Camp, Folk School Classes, you will be directly contacted and will receive a refund via mail.

The health and well-being of our customers, visitors and staff members is of the upmost importance to Burritt on The Mountain.  Our values and mission as it applies to the challenges presented by the Coronavirus is to provide a healthy, safe and valuable experience.  At this time our rentals are being delt with case by case.  If an event that you were planning to attend at Burritt is held, we ask is you are ill, not feeling well, or exposed to others who are ill, to stay at home and take care of themselves so they can visit Burritt after recovering.
