Fiber Arts: “Embroidered Necklace”
Deadline to Register: August 24th at 5:00 pm
Description: Learn how to embroider in this fun and relaxing intro to embroidery class! During this class, students will embroider a floral design onto fabric that they will place inside a 1″ bevel and chain. Students will go home with a necklace of their very own creation.
Instructor: Devora Curnutte learned to knit at the age of ten, when her aunt taught her the basic knit stitch. Since then, she’s expanded her knowledge and love of knitting, adding a plethora of knit knowledge to her arsenal. She loves to knit lace and stranded colorwork, and will drop everything she is doing to honor the knitting requests of her six-year-old son. An Appalachian native, Devora grew up and attended college in Southeast Ohio. After living in Ohio and Texas, she, her husband, their son and their six cats moved to Madison in late 2020. When she isn’t knitting, Devora can be found exploring with her family, reading, writing about motherhood, running, or practicing yoga.
