Let Freedom Ring for All
Saturday, June 22nd | 10am – 4pm
Join us as we celebrate the spirit of freedom and the remarkable journey of the United States of America towards Independence. At 10:15 we will have a formal raising of the flag ceremony. At the close of the day, 3:45pm, we will formally retreat the flag.
Local Boys and Girls Scouts, ROTC cadets, and Veterans groups will come together to share their personal stories and experiences of patriotism and public service. Hear firsthand accounts of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country’s ideals. Witness live demonstrations from Huntsville’s military reenactment group as they portray the lives of soldiers, representing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of those who have served our country.
Discover the symbolism that unites us as Americans, from the iconic stars and stripes of our flag to the enduring symbol of liberty -the Statue of Liberty. Create your own American symbols crafts and share in the joy of music that inspires patriotism. This will be a great day to bring all of our summertime national holidays together and to Let Freedom Ring for All. This program included in general admission and free to members.
