Title: Textile Arts: “Felted Gnomes”
Description: These cute little Gnomes sit on a wooden disk with an acorn cap. They can sit on a windowsill or hang wherever you like. Participants will cut, sew, and stuff the bodies out of wool felt squares. The “hands” are cut out of felt and stitched with a blanket stitch. The nose is a wooden bead sewn on and the beard and hair are needle felted then glued on the acorn cap. The last step is gluing the wooden disc on the bottom.
Instructor: Sara Boothman Glines is a Traditional Artist carrying forward what has been handed down as beautiful and culturally significant into our contemporary lives and communities.
