“Women’s Work”
Saturday, May 10th | 10am – 4pm

Immerse yourself in the world of 19th century women! Experience hands-on activities. Try your hand at the drop spindle, wool carding and laundry at the washboard. Active, ongoing demonstrations will include weaving, spinning, open-hearth cooking and the washing and mending of clothes, among other tasks, done as they would have been in 1800s North Alabama.
