Fall 2024 Saturday Series October 26 – Braided Rug Making We will hopefully be completing 2 unfinished braided rugs and begin the process of preparing scrap material for future rugs. Upcoming Events November 9, 10am-2pm - Candle Making and Dipping Burritt staff members will demonstrate candle dipping. We will also have some molds available.

EXPLORE NATURE Birding at Burritt January 25 | 10am-4pm Join us for “Birding at Burritt” to chase away the winter blahs. This family-friendly, fun-filled day includes a falconry presentation, an Audubon Society-led guided hike, and a visit to the Barnyard. Enjoy “Beauties of the Sky,” an hour-long presentation by Tommy Howell showcasing his collection of unusual birds. Bird-themed crafts will be offered in the Historic Park for children’s enjoyment. 10:15-11:00 Falconry with Carol Speegle, Phillip Nette, and Jeremy Jones, and their birds Learn about the art of falconry and meet Volt, Cochise, and Bounty.
