This class will focus on several basic forging fundamentals. Using the forge, anvil, and basic hand tools students will learn tapering, spreading, scrolling, bending, and riveting as they make hanger hooks perfect for hanging plants and more!

“Women’s Work” Saturday, May 10th | 10am - 4pm Immerse yourself in the world of 19th century women! Experience hands-on activities. Try your hand at the drop spindle, wool carding and laundry at the washboard. Active, ongoing demonstrations will include weaving, spinning, open-hearth cooking and the washing and mending of clothes, among other tasks, done as they would have been in 1800s North Alabama.
