Come make a pretty presentation for tissue boxes. This intermediate class will provide you with instruction on how to measure and build a 3d glass re-usable tissue box cover.
Students will be instructed in how to remove, fold and begin to dry a piece of bark. They will take this unfinished basket and other supplies home to complete on their own later after drying. They will then be provided a preform basket and construct a basket (attach handle, rim supports, etc.) of their own.
Come join us for a relaxing class painting a 16 ounce Stoneware mug! This will be a glazing session where you will learn how colors layer together.

Reptile Day Saturday, July 12 10 am-4 pm Burritt on the Mountain is excited to partner with The North Alabama Zoological Society and Beth Girard, a naturalist with Tim’s Ford Nature Center, for Reptile Day. NALZS will showcase their reptile ambassadors, and Beth Girard will bring her menagerie of reptiles, including a legless lizard and a blue-tongue skink. Burritt will also introduce you to our education snake ambassadors! Not only will you get the chance to learn about these incredible creatures, but we will also have engaging craft activities for kids to create.
