2024 marks the 31st Season of the City Lights & Stars Concert Series at Burritt on the Mountain, and we have 8 concerts to celebrate! Calling Huntsville “Hometown”, Huntsville’s In the Mood is an exciting 21 piece big band. Specializing in swing and jazz making every occasion an exciting event. Influences include Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Henry Mancini, Cole Porter Bobby Darrin, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie. Bring your chair, blanket and picnic to enjoy the evening. Food trucks will be onsite with food & dessert available for purchase. Beer and Wine available for purchase.
Brats at Burritt September 22nd 5pm – 7pm Fall is in the air, so come on out to Burritt for a casual dinner. Enjoy the cool temperatures and great views with a gourmet Brat Box. Pre-order your Brat Box before the event. Brat Box includes either a Traditional Bratwurst or Chicken Bratwurst, Potato Salad, Slaw and Apple Strudel. German Beer and German Wine available for purchase. Iced tea included with dinner. The Eric Rogers Jazz Trio will round out this special fall event.
This weekday beginners class is all about working with curves in stained glass. The focus of the class are the celestial forms which surround Earth – the sun, the moon, a hint of the sky with a beautiful, free-hanging beveled star in the center.
