Utopia is an ensemble of talented performers and a culmination of some of the mid-south’s most respected, experienced and professional musicians. Exceptional musical arrangements, diversity and showmanship is their forte.
Join us for this youth workshop (ages 12-18) to make out-of-this-world wearable art! Students will use a variety of dyeing and resist techniques to make a cotton scarf or *t-shirt reflecting the night sky or outer space.
In this class, students will create a flower that will last forever. Crepe paper makes up the construction of the flower and with the help of our instructor you will have a large flower to decorate the backdrop of any event, or any place you want to make a little more magical.
This two day "Master Level” class is a tribute to the master architect and glass designer Frank Lloyd Wright. Our concentration in this class will be on fitting the glass and on soldering. The geometric “Prairie Style” design is a classic and is classically beautiful. Must have previous cutting and foiling experience.
