Join us for an exciting day of adventure and exploration! We’ll dive into Burritt’s GeoQuest trails to discover fun facts about the nature, history, and barnyard friends around us. You can join in lessons about the marvels of GPS technology, take part in a guided Letterboxing quest, and make your own logbook. You can even try out a special extra quest with prizes! This event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is included with general admission; members attend for free. Spots for GPS lesson sessions and guided quests available on a first come, first served basis.
Burritt on the Mountain in collaboration with Huntsville Traditional Music Association are happy to announce the 2021 opening of the HTMA/Burritt Cabaret Coffeehouse Series. This event will be outdoors, masked, and distanced at Burritt-on-the Mountain. Outdoor seating will be provided. Food & Beverages will be available for purchase at the event. All tickets sold in advance. Artist Bio: Tosha Hill, one of the most promising new artists from the Muscle Shoals area, is unquestionably one of the more unique and untouched original talents that has been growing quietly in the beautiful community of Florence, Alabama.

Choose one of our four GeoQuest! adventures to enjoy with your family – Nature Quest, History Quest, Critter Quest, or Letterboxing Quest. Using clues and GPS technology, hunt on our trails and museum grounds to collect sets of Quest Cards. Kids will love hunting and finding the Quest Cards that share fun facts and cool trivia about each theme.
