NALZ Kids Festival – Burritt will have a booth at the NALZ Kids Festival. Come join us and help introduce Burritt’s mission and programs to children, parents, teachers, and community leaders.  You will assist guests with a simple craft. Brats at Burritt – Fall is in the air!  Volunteers needed for Brats at Burritt where guests come out to Burritt for a casual dinner.  Assist guests as they enjoy the cool temperatures and great views with a gourmet Brat Box. Sunday September 22^nd Click to sign-up Brats at Burritt

City Lights & Stars Summer Concert Series, Volunteers will assist check-in, greeting, and serving guests. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and attend the concert for free!
Sept. 20th, Huntsville in the Mood, Swing Band

Fall Camp Counselors, Monday – Friday, September 30th – October 4th. Camp Counselors needed to assist kids in grades K-5 with crafts, games, hikes and more. Be part of the fun as we enhance lives through our educational events. Counselors should be at least 14 years old, adults or teens are welcome. 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and/or 1:30 to 5:30 PM. Haunted Mansion Dinners – October 11th, 17th, 24th & 25th. Volunteers (age 21+) will welcome and greet or assist staff and serve guests.  Don’t miss this SPOOKTACULAR dinner in Dr. Burritt’s mansion. You can dress up too! Sign-up at Haunted Mansion Dinners

Fall on the Farm – Saturday, October 19th. Volunteers needed to help children with crafts, old fashioned toys and with the Gem Mining Sluice. Sign-up at Fall on the Farm

Round Top Folk Festival Field Trip, Friday, November 1st. School children will attend the Folk Festival Field Trip that showcases craftspeople, artists and presenters who will share their knowledge about the traditions, skills, handicrafts and arts of our region during the 1800’s and early 1900’s. Round Top Folk Festival, Saturday & Sunday, November 2nd & 3rd. Burritt will showcase craftspeople, artists and presenters who will share their knowledge about the traditions, skills, handicrafts and arts of our region during the 1800’s and early 1900’s. Volunteers will assist the Education Department.  Perks for volunteers include free admission to all events and live music on the day that is worked. Candlelight Christmas, Friday & Saturday, December 6th & 7th. Volunteers needed to assist with lighting candles, traditional crafts and serving refreshments while dressed in historical clothing provided by Burritt. Sign-up at Candlelight Christmas

Holiday Magic Dinners, December 10th – 15th. Don’t miss this cherished 30-year tradition; celebrate the season and support Burritt’s longest-running fundraiser. Volunteers to assist tableware set-up, lighting candles, greeting, checking in guests, and serving dinners. Sign-up at Holiday Magic Dinners

Sanders Family Christmas Play, December 18th -22nd. Sanders Family Christmas play is an annual musical favorite. Volunteers to assist with greeting and ushering outside and at the food table. Sign-up at Sanders Family Christmas Play
