In this four week class students will build on skills to make bigger and better bowls, mugs with handles, and other forms. This class is also a good refresher if it has been a while since you've used a potter's wheel. Beginners are also welcome.
Celebrate Huntsville Music Month! Music on the Mountain Sunday, September 15th 12:30pm – 4:30pm Enjoy some old-time favorites as you wander through our Historic Park and listen to musicians share their love of making music the old-fashioned way. Visit for an hour or two or bring a picnic lunch and spend the day on the mountain. Admission includes a trip to the Burritt Mansion and/or hiking our trails. Muscadines are native to the southeastern US, full of flavor, and make a beautiful jelly. Participants will work in groups of 3 and will each take away 3 jars of homemade muscadine jelly.

Make your own egg basket from kudzu vines! Using whole and split kudzu vines and bark, students will weave their own unique kudzu basket. Beginners welcome!
