This class introduces students to the art of spinning yarn using a drop spindle. Participants will learn the fundamentals of fiber preparation, drafting, and spinning to create their own handspun yarn.

With this class, we learn the basics of starting a coiled pine needle basket. You will be able to make a start on a basket and continue at home or make a small creation and finish it off during the class. We will cover all the basics and if you decide to continue after the class you will be sent home with some supplies until you can obtain more.
