Have you taken a ceramics class and want more practice or to create your own projects at your own pace? Open studio sessions are for students who have taken at least one ceramics class at Burritt or have previous ceramic experience from another studio.
Come and learn the beautiful, but simple art of quilling. After a short and easy lesson, each student will create their own personalized bunny silhouette using the colors and quilled shapes of their choice to frame and take home.
Learn to use fresh herbs in homemade pasta, sourdough breads, crackers, soups and dessert. We will also cover preserving herbs in a beautiful way to capture the essence of fresh herbs.
In this 4 week class, students will build on basic skills to make bigger and better bowls, mugs with handles, and other forms using a potter's wheel and other tools.
Busy on the weekend? This weekday class is an introduction to glass fusing. We will be cutting glass and fitting it to form a lovely sunflower for your favorite window!
